Leong will report to Greater China chairman Eddie Booth and oversee operations at both Burnett and Arc Worldwide in the market. A statement from the agency noted that Leong would be responsible for leading “new initiatives to further drive strong growth momentum”.

Booth commented that Leong’s “passion, dedication, business acumen and all-round experience” would help the agency further raise its performance in terms of creativity, client servicing, planning and implementation.

Having joined Burnett in 2005, Leong was named general manager last year. She has worked alongside clients such as CSL, Hang Seng Bank, Wyeth, Ferrero and Galaxy Macau, among others.

Leong also serves as chairman of the EFFIE Awards Organising Committee for the Hong Kong 4As.

In Hong Kong, the agency recently won a creative brief from Mission Hills, China's leading golf club.
