Lowe Vietnam wins Vietnamobile creative account

Commenting on the win, Vikas Mehta, managing director at Lowe Vietnam, says, “This is an important win for Lowe. Telecom is one of the fastest growing industries in the country and our presence in this sector needed to be strengthened. We are excited about the opportunity to partner with Vietnamobile in the growth phase of its journey in Vietnam where they have ambitious plans for the future.”

Ms. Elizabete Fong, chief executive officer of Vietnamobile, says their partnership with Lowe would strengthen the telco’s position in the competitive telecommunications market in Vietnam.

“Lowe brings international exposure as well as strong local expertise which align with Vietnamobile’s business strategy in Vietnam,“ she added.

A partnership between Hanoi Telecom and Hutchison Telecom, Vietnamobile is part of Hutchison Whampoa Group, whose telecommunications operations span 13 countries globally, including Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand and Indonesia.

The telecoms industry in Vietnam grew at 62 per cent in 2009. The growth is projected to continue for the next few years.
