In her new role, Shou will focus on continuing Ruder Finn's decade-long double-digit growth and consolidating and overseeing their three China offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

A 15-year corporate and marketing communications veteran for clients across a wide variety of industries, Chou worked for Ruder Finn from 2001 to 2008, heading Ruder Finn Shanghai for five years, and growing the 10 people office to a 50-staff operation.

"Elan is an amazing professional with whom I had the opportunity to work with, on and off, for over a decade. I have full confidence in her skills", said Dumont, "This new structure will allow me to focus on the other area of my role, which is to develop Asia."

Elan will be based in Shanghai and continues to report to Dumont, who will temporarily relocate to the Singapore office to focus on extending Ruder Finn's growth in other Asian markets.

Ruder Finn China had a fruitful year in 2010, acquiring new international and local clients including Folli Follie and Links of London, Givenchy, Sinan Mansions, Chateau Margaux, Victoria & Albert Museum, Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie, Longines, Marsh, Yoox and Breitling.
