Bell: "Huge ambitions"

Most recently the group account director on Toyota and DB Breweries at Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand, Cochrane accepted an intercompany transfer and promotion from the agency.

“The office is humming, creatively hungry and together we have huge ambitions," Cochrane said. "At the same time I will certainly miss Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand.”

Subsequently, Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand named Marcelle Baker, group account director at Colenso BBDO, to replace Cochrane. Baker started at Colenso, working on brands like BMW Mini, BNZ and Mars before heading to the UK and working on P&G and Rimmel cosmetics.

She later returned to New Zealand to work at Publicis Mojo, and most recently at Colenso BBDO leading the Fonterra, Tip Top, S.C.A. and Monteith’s business.

“Mark has played a huge part in the transformation of our agency over the last couple of years,” Nicola Bell, CEO at Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand, said. “His passion for creativity, our business and our culture along with his determined optimism has helped us charge towards our future.”
