According to CAG’s director of corporate communications, Ivan Tan, the contract is for selected projects including crisis communications if needed and media monitoring.

He added that the PR agency would complement the efforts of the internal corporate communications team, which includes three other managers.

CAG focuses on airport operations and management, air hub development, commercial activities and airport emergency services.

Despite the impact of the global economic downturn, Changi Airport handled 240,360 flights in 2009, an increase of 3.6 per cent from 2008.
