Ho came on board on 24 July and has more than 20 years' experience in the marketing and communications industry on both the client and agency sides.

Prior to joining McCann, she worked for Yuen Foong Yu Consumer Products  (永豐餘消費品實業) as director of marketing & planning based in Beijing, and new business development consultant based in Taipei.

Ho began her career in advertising with McCann Erickson Taiwan in 1988 as an account executive. She later moved to JWT in Taiwan before switching to the client side at Borden International, HSBC, L'Oreal and Standard Chartered.

In her new role, Ho will be overseeing the 35-strong client service team for key clients including Coca-Cola, L’Oreal, MasterCard, Taiwan Beer, Subway and Chimei.

Meanwhile, Yang (pictured), also with 20 years' experience, came on board last week as co-ECD for McCann Worldgroup Taiwan. Most recently he was creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi and ECD at Saatchi & Saatchi Publicis in Taiwan.

During his career, Yang has worked across a wide variety of clients including Lexus, Toyota, Citibank, Sony Ericsson, Nescafe, Nissan, HP and Epson. He also won the Times Advertising Best of Show Award for his TransAsia Telecom launch campaign.

Reported yesterday, Martin Lee, chief creative officer of McCann Worldgroup in Thailand for the last four years, will be transferring to China in mid-September to take up the role as chief creative officer for McCann in Shanghai.
