New look Music Matters hits Singapore for the first time

ASIA-PACIFIC - Music Matters, the pioneering music industry event and gathering of key players in the global music industry, will be held at the Ritz Carlton Millenia Hotel in Singapore from 26 to 27 May.

Now in its sixth year, Music Matters will be held for the first time in Singapore, signaling a new look, new location and new expanded programme.

Key speakers for 2011 include Sony Network Entertainment President Tim Schaaff and Steve Lillywhite, renowned producer of U2, Jason Mraz, the Rolling Stones and more. In addition, Grammy award winning artist, Imogen Heap, will be the keynote performing artist.

This year’s line up includes an advertising spotlight, sponsored by Campaign Asia-Pacific, the relationship between the music industry, advertisers, and agencies is evolving and adapting to current industry trends in Asia and at a global level. 

Speakers at this session include Joe Belliotti, director, Global Entertainment Marketing, The Coca Cola Company, Sandy Monteiro, president, Universal Music International Group (SEA), Robin Seow, vice-president, Marketing, Personal System Group, HP Asia Pacific & Japan, Mark Liversidge, chief marketing officer, CSL Limited, Mike Rich, CEO, GroupM ESP Asia and Luke Wood, president and chief operating officer, Beats by Dre.

Music Matters will be preceded by Digital Matters, a two-day showcase of innovation, online content, social media and deeper consumer engagement with digital advertising, held at the same venue from 24 to 25 May.
