Hong Kong’s best transit ads shine at MTR Awards

The winners of the night included Hong Kong Disneyland, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Edelman, and more.

The 18th MTR Advertising 'The Best of the Best Awards', were recently held in Hong Kong. In partnership with JCDecaux Transport, Hong Kong's MTR Corporation that operates urban train lines and the Airport Express, the awards honoured standout innovative and creative achievements that have elevated the advertising landscape within Hong Kong’s bustling transit system.

Top honours:

  • Hong Kong Disneyland’s 'World of Frozen–Admiralty and Central Take Over' campaign took home the 'Best of the Best–Creative' Platinum Award and the Gold Award for 'Best Use of Ambience Media'. This campaign transformed Admiralty and Central stations into a breath-taking winter wonderland, fully immersing passengers in the magic of Disney’s Frozen. The attention to detail and creative execution offered travellers a truly enchanting experience.
  • Hong Kong Tourism Board’s 'Hallo Hong Kong Halloween' work was another big winner, earning the 'Best of the Best–Use of Media' Platinum Award and the Gold Award for 'Best Use of Airport Express Advertising Campaign'. This campaign brought Halloween to life across MTR stations and Airport Express, captivating passengers with spooky yet delightful displays that integrated seamlessly into their journey.
  • Public Voting Awards: With overwhelming public support, Keung To’s 'The Irregulars' captured both the 'My Favourite Campaign' and 'Youth’s Favorite Campaign' awards, underscoring its popularity and resonance with the younger audiences.
  • Outstanding Performance Awards: Ocean Park's 'Water World Summer Fest!' was named 'Best Campaign Presenter of the Year', while Edelman Hong Kong earned the title of 'Creative Agency of the Year', Zenith Hong Kong was recognised as 'Media Agency of the Year'. To view the full list of winners, click here.
